 General Description:
 
   Polygon Coverage of Landsat TM Scenes used for the identification of
   Landsat TM scenes in the Southern Appalachian Assessment Study Area.
 
   The coverage source is the coverage "pathrow" acquired from Naomi Nakagaki
   USGS/WRD in Sacramento
 
   Attributes include information about scenes used for the SAA land cover
   mapping project.
 
 
 Intended Use:
 
   Coverage is useful for identifying which Landsat scenes cover which areas of
   the SAA  and for identifying information about the scenes.
 
   NOTE:  Landsat scenes overlap adjacent scenes
   this coverage DO NOT truely represent the area covered by scenes.  Each
   scene actually covers some area beyond the polygon boundary.
 
 
 Projection and Coordinate System:
 
   SAA Albers Conic Equal Area Projection with the following parameters
 
     1st parallel        34 00 00
     2nd parallel        38 00 00
     central merdian    -82 00 00
     lat. of origin      33 00 00
     false eastings             0
     false northings            0

   Units are meters
 
   Datum is NAD83
 
 
 Quality:
 
   Information about the production of coverage linework is unknown.  However
   the lines appear to represent the split of the overlap between scenes.
 
   PRID
   checked for accuracy.  Estimate is that these values are 100% accurate.
 
   Other Scene attributes pertaining to the MRLC status of scenes
   reflect the information received from Paul Severson
   12/16/93.  The accuracy of that infomation is unknown.

      EOSAT-ID1    EOSAT identification number for first ordered scene
      EROS-ID1     EROS identification number for first ordered scene
      DATE2        date of second ordered scene
      CLD_CVR2     cloud cover code for second ordered scene (0-9)
      QUALITY2     data quality code for second ordered scene (1-9)
      EOSAT-ID2    EOSAT identification number for second ordered scene
      EROS-ID2     EROS identification number for second ordered scene
      DATE3        date of scene in GAP Holdings
      CLD_CVR3     cloud cover code of scene in GAP Holdings
      QUALITY3     data quality code of scene in GAP Holdings
